Halo buddy, welcome here, this is Lockey Young, also known as YangCheng in Chinese. Yeah, I like coding, which really makes me joyful , but not like most programmers with houseboy label, I am an outgoing bird. Travelling fills half of my spare time, you may not expect that I had reached the peak of Mount Hua for twice and also overlooked from the top of Mount Tai during my college period. I really love reading, and become a fan of Keigo Higashino recently, his works like Journey under the Midnight Sun and Miracles of the Namiya General Store really impressed me! Furthermore, I have a deep love for Comic Animations and sports(badmintion, basketball, table tennis, ping-pong...), etc. Thoughtful minds always impress me, hope to know more people who follow the similar and be my friends, so we can learn and grow together, may you be one! In the August, 2012, I became a college student, major in IOT(Internet of Things). During the next four years I learnt a series of subjects about computer and science, programming practice appeared in most course, which finally becomes one of my interest and offered me a decent job today. College time passed, in class, in library, in playground, ...really a struggling time made a better me.

Risk Engineer

China Link(PayPal AWF)

Though working as an AWF in PayPal, it is really a pleasure. As we all know, PayPal is a financial services company with high value. Since March this year, I has been worked as a Risk Engineer under SRS-BI for almost 6 months, the major work I focus on is a data application(developed under Nginx+MySQL+Django+Frontend) which provides access to some data for some roles in various display(chart,text,graph), and user can create a job to periodically receive email contains the data they want to view in the app. Other functions such as Q&A system, job library, user management are also available. During project time, I was impressed by PayPal's working environment and learnt more than IT skills.

Information2 is an enterprise focusses on disaster recovery and application high availability, in where I got my first job working as a web intern then became a web developer. During internship I accomplished graduation project(a website for book exchange within school using the technologies such as Apache,PHP,MySQL,etc). Then I participated in the implementation of a file sync and share platform(using web front-end technologies and Python) and developed serveral functions such as File Recycling,Visualization of user statistics,etc.

After my formal entry, I immediately put my hand to a project, which is a customized product for DELL. I worked with NWJS to build a client app from scratch. Prototype design then function implementation and review, I totally toke the charge of the app. After completing the app, I joined another project group to develop a system for file diff and sync, in which I toke responsible of client app, server side development and front-end work. That was really a difficult but challenging work, I learnt more than programming that time.

The time in Sunline I worked as a DevOps using Python and MongoDB, taking all responsible for a monitoring and alerting system, from prototype design to backends function implementation. I completed system configurations and alerts management via web browser before my separation. From this project I learnt more about Flask and NoSQL database such as MongoDB and some Ops skills.

Operation Alert and Data Analytics system

Based on raw data from Teradata, Panda makes an advanced data filtering then routes needful data to MySQL Server into schemed tables, which makes Panda's data source. Users post filter conditions from Panda's front-end to request wanted backends data, if necessary, a job can be created to retrive wanted data as wished frequency in various display(table,chart,text), which is the main functionality Panda focuses.

File sync and share platform

I2share comes from an open source project called seafile based on Python web framework Django. When I was a member of I2share, my duties are web front-end and backends which using JavaScript and Python. Together with other members, we implemented functionalities such as file recycle and Visualization of user statistics, I finished the 3rd web interface Rendering myself. After this project I become a fan of Python and decided to become a pythoner.

Client for disaster recovery and HA system

I2Dell is a customized product for DELL developed by Information2. I take the charge of client app, which developed from NWJS. From prototype design to function implementation and review are all my works. When developing the client I learnt NWJS/Node and know some about team work.

A system focusing on documents diversity and sync

Based on Information2's core technology, I2Verify is an innovative product. I take several tasks in this project(web/server side, client). On server side I implemented user and node modules, file compare, notification...,all under PHP. On client side I do the same job as I2Dell. Although difficult, I done all work well and learnt more technologies, which made me happy.

OMS

Sep 2017 - Oct 2017

Online operating system

OMS is a project from open source based on Django. Core functions come from calling SaltStack's python API. This system contains user and salt minion manage, service/node auto discovery, remote command excute, automatic deploy, file and log mamage, etc. On the level of architecture, nginx+uWSGI+python was used for html parser.

Monitoring and alerting system

By configuring Prometheus(basic configure, rules, jobs) and Alertmanager from web interface, this system can monitor services via metrics and send alert message to some recivers such as email, pageduty, etc. Nginx+Flask+MongoDB is the backends architecture within which I coding.
